| The Enem-Omni Companies have entered the technology
business arena by signing up a Joint Venture Agreement with
a well known Indian 22 year old public limited software company
OTCO International Limited located at Bangalore, the silicon
city of Asia. The agreement was signed on 31 March in Dhaka
by Mr. Neo G. Mendes, the Managing Director of Enem-Omni Companies
and Mr. Raghav Biliya, the Director and CEO of OTCO International
Ltd.
This will lead to setting up of a Software Company in the
name of Omnisoft Limited in Bangladesh with joint equity holding,
says a press release.
OTCO International Ltd. has a range of software products
and solutions covering a wide spectrum of application domains.
OTCO's prime Product is an end-to-end solution named IMP@CT
tailor made as an Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) suite
for the Micro-Finance Institutions (MFIs) and Non-Governmental
Organizations (NGOs). The IMP@CT software system is the result
of over 30 man years effort by the domain specialists and
the technologists and is based on International best practices
to support popular credit lending models and is available
in both web based and the Client Server versions. The application
is also provided in Application Service Provider (ASP) mode
